Job Searching, Interviewing and Hiring with Videoconferencing Services

I can't believe it's Friday already, the weeks have been flying by. But as usual, I am stopping in to talk about our "Easymeeting of the week". Myself, and the rest of my colleagues at Easymeeting are always excited about helping our customers connect with their contacts and taking notes on great ideas for the "Easymeeting of the week" to share with our readers. This week was no different.

We got a call from a customer recently who was trying to figure out a long distance interviewing option. We all know how volatile the job market has become over the past several years, and how elongated the interviewing processes can be, so we were happy to help both the interviewer, and the interviewee streamline this process. Our customers headquarters are in the MidWest but they have been working on a large scale job in the California area. With offices, projects, and decision makers all over the world- it was becoming increasingly difficult to schedule an interview when all of the necessary people were available.

(Now I know I blogged about our webTv services a few weeks ago, and I will probably do it again too, because our customers are utilizing it in so many ways, so just keep reading : )... Anyways, our customer arranged for the interviewer to connect from his computer at the headquarters office, while the interviewee connected through a rented videosystem booked through our partners, WhyGo, and we recorded the meeting for the rest of the executive team to consult at a later time since they could not make it to the meeting.

What would have required atleast one person flying, if not several, was localized to fit everyones geographical locations, time zones, and busy schedules! .... TIME WELL SPENT!
